 “Just a quick email to say thank you for yesterday. I really enjoyed myself. I had never used this type of service before and was very impressed with the professional way I was dealt with from my original enquiry through to my day with Anna. Nina at The Glass Slipper was very helpful and informative and certainly made me feel I was being looked after.

When I got home I did a fashion show for my husband and he really liked what I had bought. When I walked in with the LK Bennett shirt on with my new trousers he said ‘Wow, that is stunning’. I asked him what he liked best and he said the brown dress and the green cardigan but also loved the Gap jacket. He thought the grey trousers were a really good fit. He even liked my sun hat.

In future I will not look just at the petite range but try on anything and get it altered if required. I have been limiting what is available. My husband agreed with you that I should be more adventurous in putting different colours and styles together so I will try – but that is going to be more of a challenge.

“I have already thanked the ladies concerned directly but wanted you to know how absolutely delighted I was with Sarah who did the personal shop with Emily for her 18th birthday surprise and with Emma, who came to our hotel to teach Emily new makeup techniques.

The shopping was exactly what I was hoping for. Emily was over the moon with everything she bought and loved Sarah’s ideas and her enthusiasm and energy! The most brilliant thing was that if Emily had been shopping alone or with me, we would probably never have even noticed most of the pieces, but each item chosen by Sarah looked amazing when put together with everything else. It was great value too, since all the items seem to inter match and make lots of outfits. Emily can hardly wait for the second half of her shopping extravaganza!

Emma, who came to our hotel in London was really lovely too. Great fun and very friendly. She showed Emily lots of different looks for day and evening. Emily particularly appreciated guidance on use of foundation, concealer, highlighter and blusher. Emma also advised on what products to buy (I took notes as she worked!). We had never used MAC products or Dermalogica skincare……but we dashed off to Kensington Church Street the next morning and stocked up on lots of the products Emma had used (cost a fortune…..but it was a special birthday………she’ll have to make them last!!).

I had been a little nervous about putting so much trust in The Glass Slipper……I had only found you on a google search!! But everything went absolutely perfectly and Emily couldn’t have wished for a better birthday present.
