What experience do your Personal Stylists and Make-up Artists have?

They have a variety of experience; most have worked in the media including TV and magazine shoots, some have been fashion editors of high profile magazines. Others have a strong retail background, and have worked as personal stylists within stores. All have an expert eye when it comes to knowing exactly what suits a client and how to dress her or him according to her or his lifestyle, shape, colouring, and budget. They are all friendly, down-to-earth, un-intimidating, love working with people and get a real buzz out of seeing their clients feeling wonderful and confident after a session. They will teach you the rules of dressing and applying make up to look your very best.

How much do I need to spend on a personal shopping trip with your stylist?

How long is a piece of string? You can spend any amount that you feel comfortable with. There are a huge variety of shop and stores offering clothes and accessories at different price points. Each stylist has a detailed and extensive knowledge of the shops and stores and will work within your budget to advise and help you to choose those items that will make you feel and look fabulous.

What is the procedure for booking a clothes styling session or a make up lesson?

Simply phone 07801 183953 or email info@theglassslipper.co.uk. A date will be booked for your session with the your stylist or make-over artist. At this point you will receive a booking confirmation by email and post. You will also receive a questionnaire to fill in asking what you would like to achieve from your session, and this should be sent to your stylist or make up artist. Your expert will phone you before the session to introduce herself and this will be another opportunity for you to discuss your requirements and ask any questions.

It is really important to us that you achieve what you want from your make up experience and that is why we take so much care to identify your requirements beforehand.

How will you look after me?

Your total satisfaction is our top priority. We will help you to identify your clothes and make up needs and goals, and choose an expert who will work with you to make sure you achieve exactly what you want. We offer an Aftercare Customer Service which means that after your session, you can phone or email your expert with any questions and she will be happy to help and advise you.

Are there any hidden extras when I book a personal shopping session or any of your other services?

All our charges are up front. Please email or phone for a price list. We ask you to pay before the session. Our stylists and make up artists are dedicated to providing you with the best possible experience and service.

Do you take clients to stores that pay you commission for any sales?

We do not have any affiliation with any store whatsoever. Our stylists will know exactly which shops and stores to take you to. How? By carefully looking at the information you will be asked to supply them, plus they will have a detailed chat with you before the shopping trip to find out exactly what you want to achieve from the personal shopping session.
