I thought it was great that they all learned how to do their own look. Angie did one eye and then had them do the other so that they knew they could do it. I think the biggest thing they got out of the day was to enhance their already good looks rather than trying to cover them up. She gave them a look for school too which was a big hit. I’ve already tried my wedding outfit on again twice (once as soon as I got home, and a second time as soon as I got up this morning). I love it!
I was so inspired by my day with you yesterday that I went back up to Oxford Street this morning (in my gypsy skirt, denim jacket and biker boots!) and picked up some more bits (another skirt, a couple of little scarves and some jewellery), and I’m going to Bravissimo tomorrow for a couple more tops. I put myself in her hands completely and it wasn’t long before I was starting to understand what she was trying to teach me; I find myself assessing other girls in the changing rooms and thinking: “No, no, its completely the wrong colour/shape for you!” and I’ve started on my partner too!

We were so pleased with everything, that we made a mad dash to Bluewater this afternoon just to get some of the make up in time for the ball. I had a 10:30 meeting this morning, so we only left at 11:30 and just about made it back to pick the children up from school. I’m knackered!
Gosia was absolutely delightful and so good about making sure we were happy with everything. Luckily I have most of tomorrow free (for the moment anyway), so I’m going to have a little play with all the new makeup and see if I can do as good a job as Gosia did.
